County Home Page Gets a New Look

Finding County Services now simplified

The new home page allows web visitors to explore the site through categories called:

• Residents
• Business
• Visitors
• Your Government

These categories promote an easier, intuitive search for County services. In the previous format a web visitor would have to guess what department offered the service, and view various home pages in the quest for the needed information.

Increased information in the page header and footer results in easier navigation and an improved web experience. Links to information such as job openings, press releases and social media feeds are now easily accessible and the County Quick Links header expands to offer even more choices.

A valuable feature which is still available is the "What's New" subscription feature. Any visitor to the County web site can subscribe for email updates to be notified when content is updated on the home page. The new look and navigation are because we now use a Content Management System (CMS). Regional Parks and its award winning new design was deployed earlier this year. Department home pages now have a new look, are still linking to existing content pages, and will be moved and integrate very soon.
