General Accounting

The General Accounting Division provides accounting services to other County departments and local government agencies. The services provided include:

• Issuance of payments from funds held in the County Treasury
• Review and posting transactions to the County’s financial system
• Budgetary processing and control
• Preparation and distribution of financial reports for use by the public, County departments, and other government agencies
• Management and recordkeeping of County capital assets and debt
• Countywide Cost Allocation plan preparation and reporting
