How to Import Bookmarks to Chrome
Step by Step Import Instructions
- On your computer, double-click on the Chrome icon to open Chrome. The icon is found on the taskbar or on the desktop.
- In Chrome, open the "Import bookmarks and settings" by:
- Clicking the three little dots in the upper right of the browser window

Then hover over Bookmarks and select Import Bookmarks and Settings,
or

- Type "chrome://settings/importData" into the address bar and hit enter
- Clicking the three little dots in the upper right of the browser window

Select Internet Explorer from the dropdown menu and verify that Favorites/Bookmarks is checked (the other items are optional)
- Click Import
- When the import is complete, you will see a confirmation screen that says, "Your bookmarks and settings are ready."
- If you want the bookmark bar displayed at the top of your browser window, leave the Show bookmarks bar option selected.

Click Done.
How to Move Imported Bookmarks to a Different Location
- On your computer, double-click on the Chrome icon to open Chrome. The icon is found on the taskbar or on the desktop.
- In Chrome, open the "Bookmark Manager" by:
- Clicking the three little dots in the upper right of the browser window then hover over Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager, or
- Typing Ctrl+Shift+O, or
- Type "chrome://bookmarks/" into the address bar and hit enter
- Find desired bookmarks
- For example, if you already have bookmarks in Chrome, the imported bookmarks will reside in a subfolder called "Imported From IE" on the bookmarks bar.
- Move selected bookmarks and dragging them to the desired location. For example, drag them from the "Imported From IE" folder into the "Bookmark Bar":
