Property Tax e-Billing
The Auditor-Controller Treasurer-Tax Collector Office is now offering a paperless Property Tax e-Billing System that allows you to receive your Secured Annual Property Tax bill by email. Once you subscribe, you’ll receive an e-mail with a link to a copy of your property tax bill.

Consider "Going Green" by paying online with an e-Check (no fee) or credit card (2.34% convenience fee is charged by the vendor) or use our convenient pay-by-phone using your credit card at (888) 636-8418. Visit our Property Tax Payments page to learn more about paying your property taxes online.
Please Note: A subscription to Property Tax e-Billing is not required to submit payments online.
Instructions
Signing up for property tax e-Billing is quick and easy. Use the instructions below to sign up for property tax e-billing at our e-Billing website.
- Click Register for an account.
- Create User Name and Password.
- Click the "Register now for a Tax E-Billing Account!" link.
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Enter at least one email address. You may enter as many as you like.
- Enter at least one Assessment Parcel Number (APN). You may enter as many as you like.
- Press Submit. The Submit button will not show up until you enter at least one email address and APN.
- You are now subscribed and will begin receiving property tax statements by email. Please note you will also receive a paper letter confirming your subscription to the service and when you add any new APN numbers to your account.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I get a copy of my tax bill if I lose the email?
Contact the Tax Collector’s Office at 707-565-2281 or taxcollector@sonoma-county.org if you would like us to resend the email or mail you a physical copy. Otherwise, you can find and print a physical copy from our website.
- What if I forget my user name?
Use the “Forgot your User Name?” link located below the User Name field. Enter your email address and your user name will be sent to you using the email associated with your account.
- What do I do if I forget my password?
Use the “Forgot your Password?” link located below the Password field. Enter your User Name and Email Address. Enter the Verification Code sent to you at the email associated with your account into the “Verification Code” field. Click “Verify Account”. You will then be prompted to enter a new password and to confirm the new password. You will receive a verification email letting you know that your password has been changed.
- What if I signed up for the wrong APN number?
You can go back into the Property Tax e-Billing System and delete the APN.
- What do I do if I didn’t receive my notification in the mail?

- What do I do if I received notification stating I’ll receive electronic tax bills but did not sign up?

- How do I unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe, you will need to log back into the application. On the left hand side menu bar you will see a link for “Unsubscribe from Tax e-Billing”. Click the link and then press the “Unsubscribe from Tax e-Billing” button. You will receive an email notification confirming you have unsubscribed from the service. You will now receive all property tax bills by mail.
