Integrated Recovery Team
Our Access Team is the first contact to request mental health services, and can be reached at (707) 565-6900.
We provide services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders, who currently do not receive comprehensive services.
IRT uses an integrated treatment approach that addresses mental health and substance use conditions at the same time to ensure better overall health outcomes. Treatment focuses on the stages of change, utilizing a harm reduction approach and motivational interviewing. Services include:
- Pharmacological treatment
- Case management
- Self-help groups run by peers
- Family education
- Housing and employment services
- Aftercare services
Funded by the Mental Health Services Act
This program receives funding through the voter-approved Mental Health Services Act (Prop. 63). MHSA funding provides a broad continuum of prevention, early intervention and services, and the necessary infrastructure, technology and training elements to effectively support our local mental health services system.
This program is a Full Service Partnership. FSPs are multidisciplinary teams that provide intensive field-based specialty mental health services targeted at specific populations with a service commitment of doing “whatever it takes”.
