RFP for Inspection Services

The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) is requesting proposals from firms/Vendors to provide Housing Quality Inspection Services for the Sonoma County Housing Authority's Rental Assistance Programs.

The Sonoma County Housing Authority (SCHA) administers several rental assistance programs within Sonoma County. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations require a Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection of each assisted rental dwelling before initial occupancy and annually or biennially thereafter as long as the dwelling unit is subsidized. Since 2012, an independent contractor has conducted annual inspections for the SCHA. The SCHA seeks proposals from independent contractors and/or consulting firms to conduct all of its annual and biannual HQS inspections.
