Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) - Community Development Block Grant- CARES Act (CDBG-CV)
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) will be accepting funding proposals from eligible applicants for Community Development Block Grant – CARES Act (CDBG-CV), Fiscal Year 2020-21 Action Plan Substantial Amendment. On or about July 22, 2025, the Sonoma County Community Development Commission will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of $242,896 in Community Development Block Grants/Entitlement Grants funds as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Title I, Public Law 93-383, 88 Stat. 633, 42 U.S.C. 5301-5321, as amended, to undertake a project known as Cloverdale Scouts Cabin ADA Improvement project for the purpose of making improvements to a public building for accessibility.

Sonoma County Housing Authority opens waitlists for project-based vouchers
The Sonoma County Housing Authority will accept waitlist applications for senior studio and one-bedroom project-based voucher waitlist lotteries from June 1 through June 30. The waitlists will be for applicants 62 or over who meet the qualifications for “very low income,” which is at or below 50 percent of area median income.
