California and Sonoma County lift COVID-19 emergency orders
As California and Sonoma County lift their COVID-19 public health orders, please join us in thanking our local health care professionals for their heroic efforts over last three years.
They have saved lives and kept us safe and healthy. We are now moving into the endemic phase of COVID-19.
What is endemic? This means that the virus is still circulating in the community but is now considered part of our everyday lives.
During this transition, you can continue to get the latest COVID-19 information about resources for vaccination, testing and treatment by visiting:

Sonoma County seeks input on Permit service delivery
The county is seeking feedback from the community on the Permit Sonoma Management Review Implementation Plan, which will be heard at the March 7 board meeting.
During that meeting, the Board of Supervisors will review and consider a draft implementation plan for Permit Sonoma to improve process and service delivery.
The review aligns with the county's commitment to strengthen operational effectiveness, fiscal reliability, and accountability. On March 7, the Director of Permit Sonoma will return with a draft implementation plan for the Board’s review.
