Add “SoCo Alert” incoming phone number to your contacts list

When you get a call from 866-419-5000, it isn’t spam. In fact, this is the caller ID for SoCo Alert, and it provides critical information regarding the health, safety and property of Sonoma County residents during an emergency.

Program the number into your phone as a new contact and name the contact “SoCo Alert.” That way, in the event of an emergency, you will know that you are getting the most reliable information available about what to do next.

If you need to hear the message again, simply dial SoCo Alert in your contact list. For more information on the SoCo Alert system, please visit:

Registrar of Voters notice regarding Presidential Primary Election

Registered voters who have declined to provide a political party preference will receive a ballot for the election on March 5, though it will not include presidential candidates. However, no party preference voters should also expect to receive a crossover postcard for the Presidential Primary Election.

The notice includes information on how to vote for a presidential candidate. Please be sure to return the completed postcard as soon as possible to get the ballot you want. If you do not want to vote for a presidential candidate, your ballot will still include all other contests.
