EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER YOUTH PROGRAM OPENS
Do you know a Sonoma County high school sophomore, junior or senior interested in public service? From June 16 – 20, incoming 10th – 12th grade students are invited to join a free, hands-on week at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to learn how the County responds to disasters like wildfires and floods.
Some schools may offer credit for community service or senior projects — check with your principal. The free program is limited to 30 students — apply soon.
