PeopleSoft and Reporting Services will be down starting March 7 @ 5:00 PM; Big Changes Coming!

In case you missed the communications that went out previously, we want to remind you PeopleSoft and Reporting Services will be unavailable from 5:00pm on Thursday, March 7 through Sunday, March 10. This also means you cannot make deposits after 3:00pm on Thursday, March 7. Please see the detailed timeline later in this message.
What is changing?
When you access PeopleSoft on Monday, March 11th, you will see that the look and feel is different. Take a look at the new PeopleSoft Homepage below.
PeopleSoft offers new navigation and search options; there are 4 WebEx overviews scheduled (see the links later in this message) and training materials will be made available on the EFS Intranet site here (materials are not yet posted, but please bookmark this page now).
Aside from the new homepage, navigation and search features, there are a few less significant changes which are addressed in the training materials.
Dates when PeopleSoft and Reporting Services will not be available:

| March 7, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. | All posted bids with a closing date of March 7, 2019 must end by 3:00 P.M. No posted bids should have a closing date of March 8, 2019. Any posted bid with a closing date of March 11th or later will not be impacted by the system closure. |
| March 7, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. through March 10, 2019 | The Treasury department will not be accepting deposits during this time. Please prepare accordingly to have deposits in by March 7, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. or to be held until March 11, 2019. |
| March 7, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. | PeopleSoft 9.2.28 update will begin. PeopleSoft 9.2.24 including Reporting Services will be brought offline at this time. |
| March 8, 2019 | Wires will not be released March 8, 2019. Please ensure all wire requests submitted to the Treasury and ACTTC-Claims have wire release dates either before March 8, 2019 or after March 10, 2019. |
March 7, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. through March 11, 2019 at 8:00 A.M. | EFS PeopleSoft and EFS Reporting Services will be unavailable. Please note, Simpler EFS will be available with data from posted transactions as of Wednesday evening March 6, 2019. |

Why are these changes being made?
The EFS Support Organization utilizes the latest Images provided through PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) to complete the Annual Catch-up Event. This annual process will bring us to the most current release available at the start of the 2018/2019 ACE. Also, the latest image release will offer improved system security and stability. Following ACE go-live, individual critical fixes identified by the EFS Support Organization will be applied throughout the year to keep EFS PeopleSoft stable and secure.
The EFS Support Organization continues to work diligently on meeting our Annual Catch-up Event milestones while continuing to offer support to the EFS end-user community.
