Director Jerry Threet was interviewed for a recent story

The Director of the Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach, Jerry Threet, was recently featured on KQED radio. The story was in response to the news that the Sonoma Sheriff's Office initiated an internal affairs investigation into the actions of deputies during a use of force incident at a domestic dispute call. One of the deputies was found to have violated the Department's Use of Force policy and that deputy no longer is employed by their office. In addition, the Sherriff's Office requested a separate criminal investigation into this incident and IOLERO will be conducting an audit of the Sheriff's administrative investigation once it's completed.
