SANTA ROSA, CA | January 31, 2024
Due to a statewide disruption in service, phone lines for Sonoma County’s Department of Child Support Services are not working. This includes the automated 866-901-3212 line.
While the phone system is down, clients may reach out to Child Support Services using Customer Connect, where they may leave a message or ask for a call back. A Participant ID number is required when logging into Customer Connect. Clients can also visit any local child support agency for assistance. Department of Child Support Services addresses are:
- 3725 Westwind Blvd.
Suite 200
Santa Rosa- Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 5350 Old Redwood Highway
North Suite 100
Petaluma- Open Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 19080 Lomita Ave.
Sonoma- Open Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 2227 Capricorn Way
Ste 100
Santa Rosa- Open Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The outage is due to a disruption to the California Department of Child Support Service’s service center, which is offline due to a cybersecurity incident affecting a third-party vendor that supports its phone lines. The incident was limited to the state call center telephone system, and enrollment and customer self-service systems are unaffected. At this time, there is no indication that any personal information has been compromised. There’s no estimate at this time when phone service may be restored.
