This year, I'm thankful for a relatively quiet fire season and a gentle start to our rainy season. I'm thankful to the City of Sonoma for their initiative and partnership to open a severe weather winter shelter for vulnerable folks in the Sonoma Valley. I'm thankful to be just weeks away from the opening of the East Sonoma County Services Center, which will bring much needed county services to the Valley - keep an eye out for an official announcement in an upcoming newsletter! The leaves are finally turning and rainy weather is upon us - it's fall! Fall also marks the start of our season of celebration, and I always look forward to the ways our community decorates our residences, businesses, and public spaces, be it for Halloween, Día de los Muertos, Christmas, or for any reason at all! A community member recently sent me this stunning photo of El Molino Central in the Springs.
