Board of Supervisors - District 1
The 1st Supervisorial District is bounded on the north by Porter Creek and Franz Valley School Roads, to the east by the Napa county line, to the west by a combination of roads, including Mark West Springs Road, Fountaingrove Parkway Brookwood Ave, Farmers Lane and Petaluma Hill Road, and to the south by San Pablo Bay.
Population is concentrated in the City of Santa Rosa (Bennett Valley, Rincon Valley & the community of Oakmont), the City of Sonoma and the adjacent unincorporated communities of Kenwood, Agua Caliente, Glen Ellen, El Verano, Boyes Hot Springs, Schellville & Vineburg.
District 1 Grant Applications
Community Investment Fund Grant
The Board of Supervisors invites non-profit organizations to apply for grant funding for local events that will support businesses or enhance culture, and organizations that provide a benefit to the community.
2025-2026 Tourist Impact Fund (TIF) Grant
The Sonoma County Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) is a tax on accommodations at lodging and camping facilities in the unincorporated areas of the county. These funds are awarded in small grants to not for profit organizations to create improvement projects in their community.
