Joe Rodota Trail Section Reopened to Cyclists, Pedestrians

Sonoma CountyRegional Parks on Tuesday, 6/5, reopened the Joe Rodota Trail between Dutton andRoseland avenues after completing a multi-day cleanup of an illegal homelessencampment. The trail was closed May 30 to allow the county of Sonoma and cityof Santa Rosa to reestablish a safe and clean trail for pedestrians andcyclists. During the closure, approximately 100 illegal campers were notifiedof the need to move, with the last occupants leaving June 1. Read full story

Frances Farias Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Theft from Oakmont Management Group, LLC

District Attorney Jill Ravitch announced that defendant, Frances Farias (60 years of age), of Sebastopol, California was sentenced on June 5, 2018 by the Honorable Judge Conger to 4 years of state prison to be served in the California Department of Corrections. Read full story

Woman Sentenced for Felony Child Endangerment and Driving Under the Influence

Defendant Alexandra Darla Hutcheson, 31 years old of Cloverdale, was sentenced today by the Honorable Robert M. LaForge to five years of formal probation and 364 days in the county jail after pleading no contest in April to driving under the influence and child endangerment. She was further ordered to participate in and successfully complete a residential program of alcohol and drug rehabilitation and a 52 week parenting class. Read full story
