ESC Negotiations Public Update

The County of Sonoma and ESC met for their third bargaining session on February 3, 2023. The County provided its initial economic proposal, which included a three-year term, immediate market equity adjustments, cost of living adjustments in each year of the contract, increased County medical contributions, and additional legacy-employee pension cost share provisions. The Union proposed modifications related to various contract sections, including staff development and wellness allowance, vacation savings plan, licensure reimbursements, premium pay for field work, and uniforms. The parties are scheduled to resume negotiations on February 7, 2023. Read full story
