Crime Victims' Rights Week Event: Community & Resource Fair
On April 29th from Noon to 4PM, at the Old Courthouse Square, the Victim Services Division of the District Attorney’s Office is hosting an in-person Community & Resource Fair highlighting the services available to victims of crime. Together with partner agencies we offer an opportunity to learn about the resources available to survivors of crime and efforts to keep our community safe. Read full story
2022 May 25 – Charles Martin Wyatt
On May 25th, 2022, Charles Martin Wyatt was a resident of Santa Rosa, CA, on parole, and under the supervision of Agent Jeffery Gill, a parole agent out of the Santa Rosa Parole Office. Agent Gill had supervised Wyatt since April of 2022. As a condition of his parole, Wyatt was attending sex offender treatment pursuant to California Penal Code section 3008, due to Wyatt being a registrant pursuant to Penal Code section 290. Additionally, due to a positive drug test for cocaine on April 15, 2022, Wyatt was attending drug treatment, as a condition of his parole. Read full story

Notice of Intent to Award - RFP for Emergency Advanced Life Support Ground Ambulance Services for an Exclusive Operating Area in Sonoma County
The evaluation panel carefully reviewed and analyzed the proposals received in response to the above referenced solicitation. Based upon that review and analysis, Sonoma County Fire District received the highest score among all proposers. Read full story

Sonoma County Building & Fire Code Updates
The new building and fire codes became effective on January 1, 2023. Permit applications received before December 31, 2022 are not required to meet the new codes, and will instead be reviewed and permitted according to the 2019 codes. Read full story
