A draft of the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) assessment, formerly known as the Assessment of Fair Housing, for the participating jurisdiction of Sonoma County is now available for public review. The draft AFFH is a requirement from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) of all participating jurisdictions of federal grant programs. Read full story

The Groundwater Determinations Policy has been updated. The changes reflect clarifying language and updates regarding the radius distance surrounding a groundwater test hole, the number of test holes required for a proposed septic system and depths of test holes based on site conditions such as impermeable layers.
