Sonoma County Homeless Coalition’s Committee Vacancies- Application Period Now Open!

This serves as a notification of vacancies in the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition Board Committees. The list of Committees with vacancies are below. Please submit interest and attached CoC Committee Application form no later than April 2nd, 2024, by 5:00pm to Araceli Rivera, Araceli.rivera@sonoma-county.org or delivered to Sonoma County Department of Health Services, c/o Ending Homelessness Division Attn: Araceli Rivera, 1450 Neotomas Avenue, Suite 200, Santa Rosa CA 95405.
All committees mentioned below have vacancies for persons with Lived Experience, Homeless experience/knowledge (currently or previously homeless, experienced various types of homelessness).
If you are already a member of one of these committee, you do not need to reapply.
Committee membership vacancies and applications will be referred to the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition Board Chair and Vice Chair for selection.
- Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Data Committee: Five (5) Vacancies
This committee is responsible for advising Sonoma County Homeless Coalition Board on issues regarding Sonoma County’s web-based Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
- Coordinated Entry Advisory Committee: Two (2) Vacancies
This committee ensures the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition is compliant with federal and state requirements, and that a countywide Coordinated Entry System (CES) is in place that is effective and responsive to real-time community needs.
- Strategic Planning Committee: Two (2) Vacancies
This committee will monitor and report back to the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition Board on strategic plan progress to ensure the vision of zero functional homelessness is achieved, including alignment of services and policies across the system of care.
- Funding and Evaluation Committee: Two (2) Vacancies
This committee is responsible for the oversight of funding and evaluation of projects for the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition.
