Road Maintenance Update

Aside from a slight chance of rain on Tuesday, the weather forecast for this week remains fair and sunny. Road crews will continue filling potholes around the county - Guerneville and Cotati crews will also be cleaning culverts using a Vactor truck at various locations in West and South County. The Annapolis crew will be clearing slides along Annapolis Road. 

The Culvert crew will begin a culvert replacement project on Doran Beach Road Tuesday through Friday. Work will be done in the section between the intersection of Doran Park Road and the County Park entrance kiosk. This road is narrow, so intermittent closures with delays up to 15 minutes can be expected. Advance notification has gone out to the Park Ranger Headquarters and Coast Guard Station – message boards were set up last Thursday.

Cal Fire crews will be assisting road crews clearing roadside brush and vegetation along West Dry Creek Road and Middle Two Rock Road on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect traffic controls and minor delays.

The Bridge crew will continue work this week on Pine Flat Road constructing a retaining wall. Traffic crews will be doing sign maintenance and storm drain inspections.
