Description:

The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Non-Congregate Shelter and Transitional Hotel Meal Delivery Services. 

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued by the County of Sonoma Department of Health Services, to contract local food vendors to prepare and deliver hot and cold meals to guests at some or all of the County’s non-congregate shelter and permanent supportive housing site locations for a designated number of meal periods (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner) per week. 

Questions should be sent via e-mail directly to DHS-Contracting@sonoma-county.org, with the subject line: RFP for Non-Congregate Shelter and Transitional Hotel Meal Delivery Services. Questions will not be accepted by phone. 

The living wage rate required under the County’s Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2022, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $16.75 per hour, an increase over the previous $15.00 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 14, 2021, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate.
