The RMP is a program that allows Eligible CalFresh recipients to buy prepared meals using their EBT card at participating restaurants in California.

CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program Eligibility:

To qualify for the CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program (RMP), all CalFresh household members must be one of the following:

    • an adult aged 60 or older,
    • a person with a disability,
    • the spouse of an individual that belongs to one of the above categories, or
    • a person experiencing homelessness.

*Note: Spouses do not have to meet the age or disability criteria. Households that include at least one member who does not meet RMP eligibility criteria will not be eligible for the RMP.

How to use the RMP program:

    • Step 1: Find a restaurant near you that's part of the program. Scan the QR code above or visit www.cdss.ca.gov/RMP
    • Step 2: Look for the sign that says "We Accept EBT"
    • Step 3: Pay with your EBT Card just like you do at the store
