Reuse & Recycling Center
Sonoma Public Infrastructure's offices are now located at 400 Aviation Blvd, Suite 100, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.
Recyclables such as scrap metal, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic containers, and newspaper can be conveniently unloaded at the recycling drop-off center, located at the Central Disposal Site on Mecham Road outside of Petaluma.
The Reuse & Recycling Center is administered by Republic Services of Sonoma County, Inc.

Recycling at Transfer Stations
Routine recycling materials (glass, cardboard, metal, etc.) are also accepted at the Annapolis, Guerneville, Healdsburg, and Sonoma transfer stations.

“Recycletown” Reuse Area
Adjacent to the recycling drop-off zone at Central is the reuse area, also known as “Recycletown,” operated by Garbage Reincarnation, Inc., where household goods, building materials, toys, clothing and a myriad of other items can be donated and are then offered for sale to others. As Garbage Reincarnation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, articles donated at Recycletown are tax-deductible.
