Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 County Fund for Housing (CFH) and Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA), and FY 2021-2022 HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP)
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) will be accepting funding applications from eligible applicants for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 County Fund for Housing (CFH) and Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) and Fiscal Year 2021-2022 HOME – American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP). These funds are available for eligible affordable housing projects, and the eligibility requirements differ based on the applicable funding source. All prospective applicants are required to attend a mandatory technical assistance workshop in order to apply. Notice of Cancellation of Public Hearing: Sonoma County Housing Authority PHA Administrative Plan Update
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission, in its capacity as the governing body of the Sonoma County Housing Authority, has cancelled the public hearing related to the PHA Administrative Plan Update originally scheduled August 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The public hearing will be rescheduled in early 2025. Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds
On or about June 17, 2024, the Sonoma County Community Development Commission will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of $392,000 in Community Development Block Grants/Entitlement Grants funds as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Title I, Public Law 93-383, 88 Stat. 633, 42 U.S.C. 5301-5321, as amended, to undertake a project known as 1st Street ADA Improvement project for the purpose of making improvements in the public right-of-way for accessibility. HOME ARP Substantial Amendment and Hearing Notice
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) proposes to amend the Sonoma County FY 2021-22 Annual Action Plan by modifying the Sonoma County HOME- ARP Allocation Plan (Allocation Plan). The Allocation Plan was adopted by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on March 14, 2023, and is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the use of $2,991,512 of federal HOME-ARP grant funds. On or about May 24, 2024 the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (SCCDC) will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Title 1 (42 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.), to undertake a project known as L and M Village Parking Lot Rehabilitation proposed by the City of Healdsburg for the purpose of repaving the parking lot of an existing transitional housing site located at 70 Healdsburg Avenue, Healdsburg, CA 95448 with estimated funding of $200,000 of CDBG funds.
