Airport Hazard Eucalyptus Tree Removal Project – Project #APAM14

The County of Sonoma Department of Transportation and Public Works Airport Division conducted a formal bid process to contract with an agency to assist with facilitating the removal of hazardous eucalyptus trees on Airport property. Trees determined to be hazardous on Airport property must have a minimum diameter greater than 12”, and must have been determined to be hazardous by the Airport’s contracted engineering consulting contractor. Bids for awarding a contract were conducted on March 24, 2022. The low bidder was determined based on a Base Bid Total, including two area on Airport property, with an optional area as an Alternate Bid considered. The estimated time to complete this project is approximately 30 working days or less.
