Sebastopol Center for the Arts

Sebastopol Center of the Arts leases the Veterans Memorial Building in Downtown Sebastopol and plans to remodel and upgrade the facility to create all of the spaces necessary for our continued development.

Expanding to 17,800 square feet, means that we can provide more concerts, dance performances, films, theater, classes, exhibitions and more children’s programs for the community. We need to upgrade the building with lighting and acoustical improvements, retractable walls and new classroom space.

In addition, the Veterans Building has a commercial kitchen, an auditorium with a large stage, ample parking and outdoor space for sculpture. And it is adjacent to Ives Park. The Center will encourage other community groups to use the building when spaces are not occupied by our own activities. Our goal is to revitalize an iconic community building, expand programs and create a robust arts scene in the heart of the downtown.
