The County of Sonoma and SCPA representatives met on May 9, 2019 for the parties 12th bargaining session. The parties completed their review of final contact language and executed a comprehensive tentative agreement for a four year successor contract.

The County of Sonoma and SCPA representatives met on April 11, 2019 for their eighth bargaining session. The County provided updated proposals on updated dues deduction language, standby pay and compensatory time off.

The County of Sonoma and SCPA representatives held the parties’ 9th bargaining session on April 18, 2019. The parties executed tentative agreements on staff development, sick leave language clarification, and clean-up of deferred compensation language.
SCPA Labor Negotiations Summary
The County of Sonoma and SCPA initiated successor contract negotiations with a productive opening session on January 10, 2023. The bargaining teams agreed on ground rules for the bargaining process, which included a timeline to submit all initial proposals, and coordinated schedules for future bargaining sessions. The current Memorandum of Understanding expires on May 6, 2023.The parties’ next bargaining session is scheduled January 23, 2023.

The County is pleased to announce that on 4/21/2023, the County and SCPA reached a comprehensive tentative agreement for a three-year successor labor contract.
