Volunteer Opportunities Working with Seniors

The County of Sonoma offers services and programs in support of seniors in departments and programs including the Community Development Commission, the Department of Health Services and the Adult and Aging Services Division of the Human Services Department. 

Some of the volunteer opportunities include assisting with homeless counts, helping clients complete low-income housing applications, and providing clerical and administrative support.

  • You can opt to submit an application and resume if you’d like, but there is no guarantee that you will hear from the department or program if there are not openings. Complete the volunteer application and email it to volunteer@sonoma-county.orgor drop it off at County of Sonoma Human Resources, Volunteer Program.
