County Conducts Initial Damage Assessments
Permit Sonoma is conducting initial damage assessments on an estimated 59 buildings damaged by the Kincade Fire. Rapid Evaluation Safety Assessment, also known as RESA, allows people to inhabit and use safe homes and businesses, and ensures that people are prohibited from entering unsafe structures. Air Quality Health Advisory - Updated
Although containment of the Kincade Fire is progressing and theskies appear clearer, changing weather conditions over the next few days willlead to increased air pollution. Air quality levels are currently within thegood range due to offshore winds and decreasing smoke. Northerly winds near theRanch Fire in Tehama County will allow some smoke to move toward the Bay Area. Read full story
