Board of Supervisors - District 2
The 2nd Supervisorial District includes all of the cities of Petaluma and Cotati and a portion of Rohnert Park, as well as the unincorporated communities of Penngrove, Two Rock, Bloomfield, and a portion of the unincorporated community south of Sebastopol.
Much of the dairy industry is located in the 2nd district, as well as a large portion of the San Pablo Bay frontage.

Penngrove Traffic Study
Sonoma County’s Department of Public Infrastructure released the report on traffic in Penngrove, the first step in implementing improvements and safety measures in response to the increased congestion in the southern Sonoma County area.
Supervisor David Rabbitt, and Public Infrastructure staff will present the Penngrove Area Traffic Study and Old Redwood intersection improvement projects at an upcoming Community Town Hall. The community will have an opportunity to provide input on the potential project(s) identified in the study, as well as learn about the potential costs and possible funding sources.

Board of Supervisors approves funding for mobile crisis teams through Measure O
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors today authorized the funding of five mobile crisis agreements to ensure that emergency mental health services in the cities of Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Cotati and Rohnert Park, and Sonoma State University, will be able to continue through June 30, 2026. The contracts amount to $5.98 million, reflecting an increase of 61% over the previous fiscal year, and are funded by Measure O, the quarter-cent sales tax approved by voters in 2020 for mental health and homelessness services.
