The Tobacco-Free Sonoma County Community Coalition meets on a quarterly basis. Membership is open to Sonoma County residents who are concerned about tobacco issues, as well as representatives from organizations and other community coalitions dedicated to health and wellness. For a membership form, or for a Zoom link to attend as a guest, please contact impact.sonoma@sonoma-county.org.

Tobacco-Free Sonoma County seeks to demonstrate widespread public support and action towards effective tobacco prevention and control. Members advocate for changes that support the outcomes of: smoke-free places and homes, the elimination of underage tobacco use, and making cessation an achievable goal. The Coalition supports communities in developing a response to common tobacco issues, for example: exposure to secondhand smoke, the proliferation of vaping and use of tobacco products and nicotine devices among youth and young adults, and tobacco product waste in our environment. The Coalition receives administrative support from the Department of Health Services’ Impact Sonoma Tobacco/Nicotine Prevention Program.
